Route: Trail is a section of the Old Government Road to Awini. It begins at the end of the paved road and goes down the face of the cliff (420`)to just behind the shoreline. The trail is steep and can be slippery. Note ancient cobble stones still embedded in sections of the trail. Caution, as high surf, undertow, and rip tides occur in the ocean here.
Directions: Take Highway 270 to the end at Pololu Lookout in North Kohala.
